Maybe one day I will be an artist?

1-3-11
One of my Christmas presents from my parents was a painting by my Mothers painting teacher.

Another project?

1-2-11
Diego has decided that it is finally time for ALL his tools to find a new home.
So he is building them a mini mansion in the backyard.

Representin U- Town

Just in case you have been living under a rock, or not following my tweets, you might not know that Uruguay has made it to the final 8! If you had a life this weekend and didn't catch all the excitement and bad calls made, you can check it all out on the Fifa website.
And the player I like to look at the most...
He made both of Uruguay's goals against Korea.

Mo and I decided to put the Uruguay flag up with out the help of Diego.
Wasn't the greatest idea we have ever had but it totally worked!
Represent.
And then there is Mo...

Sometimes I even impress myself.

Living two minutes from your parents means you never know when they are gonna drop by or just drive by.
And since my parents keep their yard and plants magnificent, they would definitely judge me for not doing the same with mine.
{Which is not a bad thing because it keeps me on my game.}
These are my BELOVED children.
We have cilantro, thyme and rosemary.
It feels so "Chef-y" to be able to use my own herbs!
Here is my... OK I don't know what they are called but they are big and pretty.
{P.S. Was informed by the very smart and very beautiful Ashley that they are called Lupine!}
{And yes, Minnie got shaved and is having a complex about it.}
This is my hybrid flower.
Last year there were two flowers right here.
A yellow one.
And a purple one.
Now there is only one.
Its yellow, white, and purple.
I know.
I am amazing!
We shall call it... The Blooming Samantha.
These pretty girls are called Columbine.
They just keep getting bigger and bigger.
And all I do is water them.
Good deal.

Wanna know the best part of all these flowers?
I planted them all last year and now I don't have to do a single thing!
Exciting huh?!

Copy Cat.

I finally took a picture of my new wall art.
I'm not going to lie and say I did a lot of the work.
My mom taught/showed me how to make this project happen.

I feel very crafty.
Thanks Dittle Dattle for the great idea!

My obsession.

This is a question for all you "chefs" out there.
Do you get your recipes out of cookbooks or off the internet?
This shelf is my favorite thing in my house.
I live for cookbooks.
I bring them to bed with me to read at night.
I mark them up with markers and highlighters.
I rip up random pieces of paper to use as bookmarks.
But do I use them often?
Not really.
There are two that are always on the counter.
&

Since my homepage is a porn-for-fat-people website,
I usually just get ideas off of there.
But if you are ever going to google or bing a recipe always write amazing in front of it.
I know this sounds weird but it totally works.
So instead of putting just {chocolate chip cookies} in the search area,
put {amazing chocolate chip cookies} or {the best ever chocolate chip cookies}.

Now I am getting hungry...
Peace out!

My {lack of a} green thumb!

Today Diego and I did a little bit of work in our yard! The weather was not so good but I am still quite impressed with what I have done!

Black Friday!

Poor Minnie Mouse! Today she got one of her toe nails caught on a rug and it got partially ripped off. I took her to see her best friend Dr. NeVille and he YANKED the rest of it off! Now, $133 later, she is on antibiotics and pain killers! I was pissed when they gave her a green bandage. Dont they know green is for boys? DUH!
My sweet, easily manipulated mother bought the Crickut die cut machine for herself for her own birthday last week. I had really wanted to buy this but they are hella expensive. So I sort of just hinted at how much I knew she would love it! And Ta Da! I am putting vinyl lettering up today! Thanks Mom! Love You!

And here is a picture of my 12 foot christams tree. My dad did a way good job of pickin this baby out of the forest! I will try and get a better one later with all the ornaments!
I love Christmas season!
