One of my all time favorite appetizers is bacon wrapped water chestnuts.
Mi Madre and I made them yesterday.
Soak your water chestnuts in soy sauce for about an hour.
Then roll water chestnuts in sugar and wrap with 1/3 slice bacon.
Bake on cookie sheet with lip on 325* for 45 Minutes!

The bacon looks good, but I'm not sure about it. I would have to try it. Can you just cook for me?
Nathan and I were thinking of making these yesterday... now I wish we would have so I could have tried them!
